minefields

Units that retreat into minefields arent triggering the mines, I am not referring to sappers ( which imho in a Retreat should but anyway) any other units dont...

I looked into this. Apart from coding difficulties -- maybe surmountable, but unwise to tinker with the code in this way so close to a major release -- piggybacking mine/IED combat on assault combat breaks the overall design. Immediately after the assault results dialog, there would have to be a separate, second dialog to report the mine attack results. Tricky or worse to get that right. This will definitely not be fixed in the impending CSVN 1.30. Some future release, maybe. It's added to the wishlist.
