Do you use Army Templates ?

as stated. if so then how do you utilize them? im trying to understand the differences. for example, one is named 'invasion army'. presuming the planet is set to auto troops, would you choose that one on the planet where you are wanting to have your invasion fleet pick up troops ?

I use them do direct my automated troop ships to distribute defensive troops to planets so I don't have to move them manually and I don't have to build ground force buildings everywhere and only have them on my main planets.

I just learned about this automatic distribution across planets (not just for invasion fleets), and since have begun to use them also. Still too early to have a definitive strategy of what works best, but will comment that I find it an interesting tool to experiment with for now.

I use them for the Automatics. I still have to try out that automatic distribution system.
