[FIXED] Using Intermittent Emission Intervals

Post by TitaniumTrout »

How does one use the Active Emission Intervals?

I have a radar that states emitting, or silent, but the state never changes regardless if I have it set Active or Passive, or inherited. Simple scenario attached.

Hi TitaniumTrout, the Sensor Panel GUI not reflects the changes, in order to set a radar to using intermittent emission, you need to check the radar Active. To visualize when it emits and when it does not emit, you must look at the notification below the unit. What does seem to be a bug is that this notification is activated although the radar is deactivated, which leads to confusion. So please, check if the radar is active to show the Intermittent emission notification

If you add in your scen a ELINT unit, you could see when the radar is emitting an when is not. You must have set the Contact Emissions enable in Map Settings menu

P.D: I have modified the intermittent emission and unchecked the wake when... box so that the radar is activated and deactivated. If not from the RED side you always see you radar active bc the detection.

There is an additional step that will be required to activate the 'custom' setting. It has been added to the next build.

I posted the response in the wrong thread. My reply was for the Lua issue and not this one. :D
Teach me to do these updates late at night and without my glasses.
