Where is Rowlf?

Does anyone know Rowlf's situation? He is not a registered user on the forums anymore. Hope all is well...

I noticed that same thing many months ago...

When I asked about it nobody had any answer except that he

I had a game with Rowlf going on last summer. (I would also add that I host his excellent map mods on my server - linked thru Spooky's site, so he was sending me his mods on a regular basis last summer to put new versions on my server).

He disappeared altogether sometime in August IIRC, and I haven't heard from him for some months. Then, all of a sudden, he sent me mail in November-December, IIRC from his friend's account, excusing himself for disappearing so sudden, his PC had some problems, and he said that he won't be able to check his mail too often etc.

I wanted to continue our game but he said he could not play any more with PC-Internet link he now (then) has (had).

So, he's OK, sorta... although I can't understand how someone can be "OK" after being pulled off UV drug so abruptly (gone "cold turkey" as junkies say) ))

I believe I'd die without my PCs, Internet link, and my favorite games.

PS. For new players - if you haven't tried excellent Rowlfs map and ship mods, because you came after Rowlf "went away" from boards - I strongly suggest you to try them out (available on Spooky's site).

Oh my god! Being off from the UV forum for months and this is the first thing to read. I hope everything is alright with him.
