[1.20s] Blueprints can only be selected after one model has been designed

Post by Magirot »

Just raising this in case it's this way by accident - if no models exist, the Model Designer goes straight to the "Make a brand new Design" screen, bypassing the "Are we going to build upon previous design work?" screen where you can select blueprints.

It's not a big deal if you know about it, but potentially confusing for those who don't. And of course also prevents you from using a blueprint for your first model in a unit type.

Just to underscore what this means, it's not just when you've discovered a new model type and no models have been designed for it. The initial model designs you get at game startup don't count as designed models for the blueprint feature. You yourself have to design a model before it's treated as such. It would be nice if your initial models were "blueprinted" as well, though.
