Changing Map Values in Southern Storm

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

Changing Map Values in Southern Storm

Post by MGK4167 »

I have just purchased Southern Storm. Looks great!

One thing I wanted to test is whether my old custom maps could be used. I copied them across to the 'Custom' map folder in SS and then opened the game. I clicked on 'Map Values' and opened the map. I saved the map and then scanned map values. Everything seemed to work ok but I cannot figure out how to now modify map values, such as adjusting the dreaded 99. How do I do that please? Is there a guide available to create new scenarios?
Thank you in advance.

I will see if I can get WIlliam to jump by on the 99 value issue. Docs are coming. I have been slowed with bug fixing, the Steam release, and personal issues, so the docs are behind, but in work. We also have some videos that Charles will post soon on how to make scenarios and battle plans.
OTS is looking forward to Southern Storm getting released!
