Multiplayer login issue

Bought the game off Steam about a week ago to play a game with my buddy. He setup a game but when I logged into multiplayer this morning, it showed no challenges (from him or anyone, just blank). Tried logging in a few hours later and it says my login is successful but won't even take me to the challenge lobby at all now. My internet is working fine and my McAfee account says it hasn't blocked anything so no idea what is going on (and the game works fine otherwise). We played a Strategic Command match recently without any problems. Any help would be appreciated!

Usually that is a multiplayer issue on Matrix's side. The other day they had issues.
Usually it takes a hours for Matrix to fix it.

After that it is security software issues.

Have to put it on the safe list if security software is stubborn. Then running it as admin can help.

Also make sure windows doesn't attach it to One Drive.
