Idea for Patch: download counters

Hi,

as it happened lately with some players (basically redoing their turns multiple times...) it would be nice to add a counter (to reset each turn) in PBEM interface to track how many times the save game has been downloaded (the same way in some website you can see how many times a file has been downloaded).

Not sure if it is possible but would help a lot to make sure everyone plays fair.

As far as I know this info is not made publicly available, only because (from what I understand), issues with the server, players losing connection and so on.

Essentially a download counter is not necessarily reflective of possible cheating as there could be reasons why a player has downloaded more than once for a turn, but could be interpreted as such.

That being said, the server does keep track and whenever a major discrepancy shows, a warning email is sent, and if it is a pattern of abuse, players can and have been kicked, from what I also understand, under specific circumstances.
