Ive created some small scenarios based on current French operations in Niger (Operation Almahaou - pronounced Al-Mo), Operation Almahaou operates against militant forces in the Sahel region of Niger.
Big thanks to Nikel who PM'd me and provided the French forces deployed in Niger 2023.

Militants crossing the border from Mali or Chad into Niger could be the basis for your scenario, Niger forces not French have entered Mali (you have the Hurkus), the 4th SFHR in my scenarios are operating along the Mali/Niger border, you could also deploy them on the Niger/Chad border.
Notes:
Remember its NIGER not NIGERIA (can be easy to confuse).
I'm into self directed learning I could provide more links, please Google around but particualy get to know the region e.g Sahel, Niger, Mali, Chad and the history of French operations in the region.
I was suprised they have the ATL 2 in Niger (It does embrace overland missions)
The region is very remote you need to rely on helicopter, aircraft cargo missions.
