Looking for Soviet opponent (closed)

Post by K62_ »

If one of the Soviet experts out there is available, I'd give GC41 a go. I don't find it very interesting currently as the Axis has a big advantage and multiple chances to win. But maybe you can change my mind

Otherwise I'd be very interested in a late war scenario such as "Drama on the Danube" (with the house rules from the manual) or "Vistula to Berlin". I can go either way on open TBs but would like some restriction on temporary motorization (or maybe no temporary motorization ;) ).

PM if interested. If you value a challenging game at a steady (but not breakneck) rate we may be a good match.

Hmmmmmm, I knew I should have contacted you again ;-). If you dont get someone I will be interested. But TBs need to be closed. That is one of the reasons why Germany is doing well. I would ask to wait for the next huge update in a month or two that Joel talked about. I feel with the TBs closed would be a nail biter swinging either way.

Why just that? DotD or VtB should be a Soviet player's wet dream  You want to wait for the next update, and then work hard in '41, '42 and '43 to get to the point where you can pocket entire German armies consistently... when you could just start with that situation on T1! :o

Respect. Let's get back in touch once the new version is out.

I'm interested in a 41 GC, however I'm on HLYA's side of preferring TB's locked if that's alright.

Oct timeframe should be a good time. I figured 3 months should be a good estimate of a possible date of release.

I really really really wish there was a place on the Matrix Discord to do AAR's.
