Install question.

When the new update is released, I'm leaning towards a purchase of this game. I see in the installation thread that it's recommended to not do the default install path. What is recommended is what I had to do years ago. In the last few years all my Matrix games use the default install path with no problem. Will the new game update let me use the default path or will I have to use the path shown in the Installation thread? I'm asking because down the road when there's future updates to install I'll have to remember to install it differently from all my other games.

The 2.30 will be a fresh installer.

You should be able to install it in the default paths if you want.

I always keep my games in a separate folder, but that's just me.

Game downloaded, installed and runs perfectly. I always doublecheck the version in the game but I couldn't find it. However, the Manual says 2.30.

It does say under help etc. I didn't know to look there. Most of my games have the version on the screen where you start the game or on the scenario choice page. I haven't really started playing yet, I'm reading the manual.
