You should have resisted harder once you knew he hadn't canceled the cease fire. By gifting the Italian the required sites you failed to make him put his entire head in the noose. Instead he's only put his big toe into it. When the Raid starts you won't be able to bag as much of him.

Sounds like sage advice. Maybe on the next play-through if there is one. We are actually on turn 65 now. I'm getting around to posting the early turns.

You have "Possession" set to "Invisible". I don't know if that is how you're playing or just for the screenshots. If the former, you're depriving yourself of quite a bit of intel.

Question; How much do the fortifications at Tobruk add to the defense values?

See 13.12. Fortified line terrain is x8 for infantry. Less for other stuff.

Man, those defenders aren't giving up easily at all.

There is a lot of still cut off italian units east of Tobruk, are they being supplied from some minor port?
