AI Allocation SU Question

Post by Dereck »

If using the AI to handle support unit allocations, does it move unready/depleted units back to the strategic reserves or just back to STAVKA and then I have to manually move them to the reserves for refitting?

Also, do the HQs need to be 3 hexes away from an enemy unit for the AI to move support units out to STAVKA/SR?

Thanks

Do you mean the AI allocating support units to a HQ according to the Support Level parameter (1-5 etc). This is the only automation that I know of. My understanding is that depleted ot unready units have to be manually transferred to the HQ of your choice for refit.

I actually found my own answer and will post it here in case anybody else needs to know.

The manual, page 246 states that "support units in an unready status will be transferred to the applicable High Command headquarters".
