Unable to update War in the East 2

I hit the following error trying to update "Update information for Gary Grigsby's War in the East 2 could not be downloaded. please contact Maxtri Games for help."

My version of the game is 01.02.39Beta.

you have to register, and use the "MY PAGE" on main website, I dont think you can update from game menu
