USA 1946: logic error?

Post by xwormwood »

Played recently another Game against the allied AI (1939 campaign).
In 1946 USA moved out of the war once NM reached 0%.

So far - so good. But the game kicked the Axis units out of the US Islands etc, and the USA acted just like the pre-war USA:
it got upset about nearby axis ships, and even entered the war 2 turns later once more.

You might want to look into this. A "what if" should include the possibility that even big houses like the USA have to sue for peace. And this should have different consequences but to punish the Axis. The USA should stay out of the war as long as no one declares war against her. And the 1939-1941 logics should either get replaced, or no longer kick in.

Hi Claus

I see what you mean, at the moment I don't think I have a way to tell the scripts not to fire, so it might require a significant engine change - which will require some thought.
