Reduction of Aufklärungsgruppe 125 (See) AOG sizes

Gentlemen,

There was recently a reduction of 1,2,3 / Aufklärungsgruppe 125 (See) AOG sizes from 10 AC to 9 AC.

I believe this is an error.

Dr. Niehorster has them at 12 AC each, as well page 256 of your favorite source reference - Operation Barbarossa: the Complete Organisational and Statistical Analysis, and Military Simulation Volume IIB.

There was recently a reduction of 1,2,3 / Aufklärungsgruppe 125 (See) AOG sizes from 10 AC to 9 AC.

If the KSTN (LW) Nr. 1133 for Aufklärer type "H" applies, it's 9 planes (27crew) on duty and additional 3 (9crew) in reserve.


Also, not a proove but the "9" is the important one.

"22 June 1941: at either Fischhausen or Pillau, both near Königsberg/East Prussia, with 9 He 60s under Stab/Aufkl.Gr. 125 for the attack on the Soviet Union beginning this date. "
