Can bolding map text be done in the editor?
PO2 US Navy (1980-1986);
USS Midway CV-41 (1981-1984)
Whidbey Island, WA (1984-1986)
Naval Reserve (1986-1992)

I don't know, you can check the:

Steam\steamapps\common\Gary Grigsby's War in the East 2\Dat\FontConfig.txt
and/or
Steam\steamapps\common\Gary Grigsby's War in the East 2\Dat\GuiFonts.json

If you can change what you want to there...
