Some people still playing WITE1?

I know it's not the right forum but are some people still playing still playing WITE1? just thinking about getting some pbem game going but i have not made the move to WITE2. I 've put a message on the WITE1 forum but it looks a little like a ghost town now.

There's no reason to play WITE1 imo. WITE2 is better in every way. The only reason I could see of is if you want to play WITE on the Steam Deck then only WITE1 works (WITE2 doesn't)
