mobilization_4.txt with Surrender command is not working

I looked at several of the default campaign files and none of them is using this command but it appears to not work. I was trying to make a decision that would detect when France surrenders but it never fires when Vichy is formed. Vichy has surrendered because this command works #VARIABLE_CONDITION= 40 [2] [100] [1] and decision 638 which creates vichy only fires when France surrenders.

Just as a goof I tried change the condition to #CONDITION= 40 [0] [2] but still did not work. I am thinking this check is not working and noone has detected it because it is not being used.

It does not, that command you suggested to change it to is not supported in the mobilization_4.txt file. The format I posted is correct according to the comments on the file.

Thanks for the report, I'll try and take a look at this as soon as I can and see what might be happening here

This should now be fixed, looks like it was never properly setting a decision structure when there was a success on this event, e.g. one that would then possibly be linked to fire off other events, e.g. like a regular DECISION event would.
