Crash to desktop during save game

Anyone have or reported this problem?
When go to save the game it just closes and goes to the desktop.
Only has happened while trying to save a game file.
Happened several times while playing and can be quite aggravating.

In thousands of hours playing I can say I've never had a crash like yours. I have had one or two problems loading a scenario but never a crash. This makes me think it's something specific to your setup. Reinstall maybe?

What I was thinking also, just a fluke. A clean reinstall sounds like a good idea.

Try not to install in a “Program files” folder, if that was the case.

Also the AV could be interferring?

And just another possibility - is your storage device full?
