1328.12 Autodetect not running for a new side that's added unless scenario saved and restarted or autodetect is set x2

If you create a scenario. Add a unit. Set it to autodetectable and then add another side. That other side will not auto-detect it.

If you set it to the autodetectable (again)after you add the second side, it will be autodectable by the other side.
If you close CMO, run it again and reload the scenario it will be auto-detected.

So looks like the autodetect check only happens during those instances. It should occur after side adds as well. Pretty sure it used to.

The use case bit on this is the scenario editor has to know this behavior and restart CMO-scenario or reset the units autodetect property if they add a side after. Where you get burned (mostly) is setting up strike missions against those specific targets (they're not detected) in the same editing session. I've been wondering why buildings haven't been detected sometimes for a few months but finally had time to figure out what was going on. I thought I was being old again.

To replicate. Add a new side and notice the Blue Ridge (auto-detectable) isn't detected

In a general way, for autodetectable units being detected by all the sides you'll need to run 1 tick of the sim in order to "propagate" this info to the rest of the sides. Probably in the scenario load, the autodetect check it's shared with the sides.

You don't need to create a new side, if you have a scen with two sides, and add a unit in one of them as autodetectable, you will need to run 1tick of the sim to get the unit autodetect in the other side.

Ok. I disagree on this point but that's ok. I've reported it.

The problem is you can't create a strike mission in the same editing session because you need to restart the scenario or let the clock tick (this one starts a detection pipeline you may not want). Does it really make sense to have to do this?

Thanks!
