Status of WP2

I’m very new to WPP - still on my first game and loving it. I see a number of older references to a WP2 game being under development and wonder if it is still in the works or it has been postponed or abandoned?

Al is currently working on a fantasy game with a new engine that will be used in WP2...

WP2 is still probably 2 years away I would guess?

I'm perfectly happy to wait for a new iteration of WPP, and if it takes a diversion into another genre, so be it!
I really thought the first go at it was very good.

I think but I may be mistaken that WP2 will be global i.e. WPE+WPP.

I expect it to be global...with an option to play just Europe or the Pacific as scenarios...but all this is guess work.
