Online >2 Multiplayer support status

Post by warhero88AB »

Hi. Im doing a "recon" assessment on this game to see if itll work for a group of ~6 experienced gamers who gamed together in the past. In the manual in section 2.8 4, "Intended Changes", there is mention that online multiplayer will support up to 4 players. The language is a bit squishy so I have two Questions:
1) has online multi-player been enabled for more than 1 player per side and if so how many are supported?
2) How does online multiplayer work from an interactive standpoint *ie, can multiple players on the same side move simultaneously, etc
I own a license, but the other guys are hokding back purchasing until these and other playability questions are answered, hence my recon role.
Thanks

Afaik it is only 1 vs 1 in the "Server-Multiplayer".
Search for PBEM in the Manual to know how to play with up to X (unlimited) amount of players.
Simultaneously play isn't possible, but you could stream the game to your mates using Discord or other Stream Tools.
