Radar long range classification of submarines

Hi,
in my .scen file a PC-3 Orion is heading north. It detects and identifies a surfaced submarine at max. range of radar immediately as submarine. IMHO this should be more ambiguous, since could be also a small boat.
From more than 100 nm it gets fully identified as S 300 Ula just by radar, what is IMHO al little overly optimistic.
