Help with command line

Post by Admiral Scott »

Ok, I reinstalled the game using 26b. I had the game with the latest beta patch running fine in 1920 x 1080 resolution using the following "C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition\War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe" -cpu4 -fd -px1920 -py1080 -deepColor -altFont -skipVideo -archive

Now the game is in low resolution using the same command line.
The entire command line seems to be not working.

I have an Intel 6 core processor. What should be my command line to utilize 5 or 6 cores and to get a higher resolution?

I answered this in your other post on the main forum - hyphens and correct .exe file.

I just retyped it to make sure I used hyphens, and it's still not working.

The game is old and has not multicore support.

You installed the game and then 26b?

So, you did not install the patch v1126a?

I figured it out, it needed BETA2 in the command line.

26b is only the exe.

You should install the game, then apply the comprehensive patch v1126a and then the beta.
