Quick Jump Issue

I am trying to assign Quick Jump numbers to various units, but after #1, none of the assignments are working and before the numbers 2, 3, and 4, etc. is the message "Contact [no longer valid]" in the drop down Quick Jump menu.

I haven't seen anything in the manual that addresses this. Is there a fix or is this a bug>
