BTR - Colour Coding of Allied airfields?

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

BTR - Colour Coding of Allied airfields?

Post by Johntxic »

Chaps,

It would really help if the outlines (or middles?) of the airfield icons could be colour coded. E.G. Bomber Command, 8th AAF, 9th AAF, 2 Group, 12th AAF etc. etc all in different colours.

Would really help when moving units about.
The Nazis entered this war under the rather childish delusion that they were going to bomb everyone else, and nobody was going to bomb them. They sowed the wind, and now they are going to reap the whirlwind.

It wouldn't be difficult to do, but I'm not sure how this would help. Currently when you select a group to move, the eligible destination airfields highlight in yellow. I make sure night is on so that the highlights show up better. Also when you select an HQ in the planning phase, the corresponding AF's highlight in blue.

I was thinking of the Planning Phase: when you hit the "Move Air Units" button, you just see a sea of blue. Differentiating aerodromes at that stage would be of assistance, as the SE of England is a bit crowded...

Cheers,

John
