Current "Sales today" mixed between Steam and Matrix/Slitherine?

Hi,
today i got the "Sales today: Field Of Glory, Flashpoint Campaigns and more" newsletter from Matrix Games and i was confused about the links to the 5 games:
3 pointed directly to the Matrix Games Site and 2 pointed directly to Steam.

The confusing thing is the 2 games in the Steam Store are on sale in the Steam Store only and not in the Matrix Games Store. And the 3 games in the Matrix Games Store are on sale in the Matrix Store only and not in Steam Store (at least not in bundles).

Is this normal or by mistake?

The second thing is that i have a steam account and linked the Matrix Store to my Steam account. But i got it to work with my Debian Linux OS with WINE only for a short time and then it stopped working.

In which direction does the link between the 2 stores work? I don't see all my games in steam. When i buy on steam, will the game appear in the Matrix Games Store automatically? Because all my games bought in the Matrix Games Store yet work with WINE or are Linux games downloading and installing directly from Matrix Games store would be no problem for me.

And will you Link GOG in the future? I am personally not using Galaxy but i assume that people using it would be happy to have their games in the GOG Library with Galaxy Support. The option the way around does not make any sense i think because GOG has the option to download games normally like in the Matrix Games store too. Only Steam lacks that way.
