Beginner to normal difficulty big difference

I'm back in the game and trying again. What I notice is a big difference in the beginner difficulty level and the normal difficulty level. The first one is easy to win, the second one is always a tragedy for me. Maybe you need to make "Beginner" more difficult or "Normal" easier.
