Interface Enhancement Request

Korsun Pocket is a the second game using the award winning SSG Decisive Battles game engine. Korsun Pocket recreates the desperate German attempt to escape encirclement on the Russian Front early in 1944. The battle is a tense and exciting struggle, with neither side having a decisive advantage, as the Russians struggle to form the pocket, then try to resist successive German rescue efforts and last ditch attempts at breakout.

The popups are nice, but, could we also have the icons labled, or the option for mouse over balloons in a future release?

Zoom would be nice, very nice, to have.

Activation click sounds - the game is eerily silent when no sounds emit when you click things.

Also, in the OB interface, I'd like to click a unit and jump right to it on the map.

However, the game play is great, and once you remember what all the little icons represent, the interface is outstandingly informative.

The Combat Advisor is really cool. Wish we had something like that in defence, something that showed us the overall defensive value and shifts like we see odds for planning attacks.

Combined with a Zoom function, we could micro-manage the heck out of our plans.

I agree 100% with your suggestions. Funny, I noticed every one of your suggestions when I started playing the game. :)

may I add, a "return to main screen" button in the tutorial screen?

there's something we used to say back when I was doing set building for a theater: "when the critics complain about the set painting, everything else must have been pretty **** good" :D
I'm essentially graphically and history oriented, unfortunately to connect the two I have to do maths. I hate maths.

Is there a return to main screen anywhere in the game?

I can't seem to find one. If I want to change scenarios I have to exit the game entirely then start it back up again.

after you push the button to end the turn you are given the option to return to the start screen instead of continuing the game IIRC (only made it that far a few times so far while trying things out :D )

I have gone to the tutorial screen and had to load a scenario to end the turn to get back to the beginning a few times...
