CEC shooting does not take place even though the unit is within the range of detection and weapons.

In the scenario below, E-2D detected and USS Mahan tried to intercept ASM with SM-6, but SM-6 did not fire CEC, so it could not be intercepted

I don't know why but your E-2D doesn't have CEC comms, might be related to a scenario design decision.



As you can see by default E-2D have CEC and AEGIS comms in order to be able to direct SM-2, SM-3 and SM-6

This scenario is included in the Community pack, but I cannot find its thread in the forum.

My guess is that because this community scenario (https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/view ... 3&t=292453) is originally created in 2016 just before CEC feature came in Command, some units are without proper datalink equipment.

You can try Force Deep rebuild when upgrading database so that unit will have all equipment as latest database says.

Thanks lumiere, I was searching in the title of the thread

The database of the scenario was updated to v501 in the last community pack.

In this version all the E-2Ds are equipped with CEC coms.


The save scenario however was changed to v505, in the process they lost the CEC?

Applying scenario .ini file removes CEC datalinks for airborne Hawkie ...just as intended?
