Error in exeption handler

Post by Zyph »

Is it common for anyone to encounter this error consistently after update? I’m aware of saving log file, attach log file, but I’m curious if others are experiencing this issue nowadays.

Must be this bug, apparently not fixed yet.

From our past experience this can often happen if some other application is "fingering" Command's render loop. Please shut down all other programs, including "helper" applications like GPU applets (MSI Afterburner etc. etc.). Then see if this persists.

(Also, "after update" is not telling much. After updating from which version to which version? Which was the last version in which you did not experience this issue? Details, please).

I'm using Steam, and this issue started after I updated to Version 1.06.1328.18. I don't remember the previous version, but you probably know the version released just before 1328.18. I will try closing all other programs to see if it helps.

I also noticed something quite annoying: the hourglass icon on the mouse pointer keeps spinning for about 10 seconds, stops for a few seconds, and then starts spinning again."

You may post the exception log.

The exception logs provide more information (including software interfering) if you check the box “Log debug information to file” in General options/General dialog window.

Do that, restart the game, run until error is displayed, then go to the new exception log created and upload it to the forum.
