Divided air units and resizing.

Post by Chris21wen »

v26b
Unsure if I'm not looking in the correct place but when a air unit is divided info on size changes are lost. The 248th Sen resizes in Dec 42 to 42 but once divided this info is lost in both the air list and air group windows. I was hoping the info could be seen in the OOB window but it only lists withdrawals. See second pic.

Same problem with Tracker.

This is not an isolated case.

Well I would say don't divide them up. It may take a turn after you recombine them for that info to show up. Give it a turn.....GP

Dividing an air unit disables the ability to resize it until you recombine it.

Yes I know that, I understand that and I don't expect them too But if you divide a unit there is no way of knowing if the full unit can upgrade unlesss you carry out the act of recombining. The OOB should tell you this as it does with units that withdraw. It's just basic info.

After you divide an air unit, and one of the three parts goes somewhere else, can you combine the two remaining parts?

No, but the game can start like that, usually as a detachment.
