Is this the end of the month?

Rule the Waves III is a simulation of naval ship design and construction, fleet management and naval warfare from 1890 to 1970. and will place you in the role of 'Grand Admiral' of a navy from the time when steam and iron dominated warship design up to the missile age.

Is this the end of the month?

Post by SatakeFukutaroh »

As I write my own After Action Review (AAR) of my own gameplay, I have a question. Where in the game timeline is the screen that allows RtW3 players to order and design their ships and set their intelligence? Is it at the end of the month or at the beginning? Or does such a thing not exist at all? I've been trying to figure this out for a long time and finally I can't understand it anymore. For example, if the turn starts in January 1940, an event occurs. It is marked "February 1940". Does this event happen in January 1940 or February 1940? I want to know the truth about this. Again, this is a selfish desire that only I have. I want every event to have a date. That would make me like this game even more.

My impression is that you are setting spending/tasks/priorities/etc at the start of the month, then playing said month out when you hit end turn. Battles are the one place where you get a hard date, and I believe if you get a battle after hitting end turn on the January month it'll be a January battle. I assume other events follow suit. But really, as long as you're consistent in how you handle it, it should be fine however makes the most sense to you.
