I suck!

I can't beat the CPU on the lowest seeting in 15 matches of the weekend.

I am past frustration now.

It was fun at first, but now I am just ******?!

I am trying to keep range, and pluck em off...

I am charging when they get close...

I am trying everything, scanning, hiding, popping up...

Dieing Dieing Dieing
Dieing Dieing Dieing
Dieing Dieing Dieing

Argh! I can't take it!

Build your team of 2 to 3 jocks. Select inferior opposition. Select balance at 200% weight for side A thats you at double weight.

If you still don't win select some random battles to practice. You MUST do something really wrong as the game isn't THAT hard.

Don't fire on the move ! Select 'WAIT ON UNIT LOCKED' if the enemy is dodging or running and your percentage to hit is real low.

Come on TOS fans, give Munkie a hand. He does deserve to overcome his frustration in beating basic AI.

My friend Kai (Marga) once told me 'Come on Henrik, (thats my real name). You should create an AI that newbies can beat at lowest rank easily'. I replied : 'Kai, the AI at inferior is making mistakes and I can't give am skill below whats basic'. Perhaps he was right. Nevertheless you WILL beat the AI once you have a grasp of basic combat tactics.

Here is a fallback strategy if you are REALLY desperate. Build a team with 3 close combat titans and hide until you can beat em close quarters.

My first guess is that you don't maximize combat skills and selectv the coresponding titans. Your primary weapon skill should be about 60% and the titan should have the loadout. Your recon piloting skill should be about 60% too. Take advantage of the landscape. Come on Munkie, you can do it. Others could also.

You can do it Munkie! We're all cheering for you! :)

Have you read all the great suggestions in the Titan Arena forum? Tried playing some random battles with elite squads against rookie AI to get a feel for what you should and shouldn't do? You can even play hotseat against yourself, that way only half of you will lose (and both halves of you will get some experience).
