2 problems with this save

1) I have just conquered my first town, and did not get a fate pack. Why? Bug or WAD? FPs are vital in the early game. You will need to progress to next turn to see this.

2) Why is their only 1 hex between the minor cities Montana and Gallia? I'm going to have to combine them to get a real zone.

-To receive Fate Pack from Zone Conquest its now only sure if new Zone has 20% of existing Populace in your empire or more, if conquered Zone has less than that 20% there is a linear chance you’ll still get the Fate Pack. (previous hard 10K populace limit has been dropped).

It is possible that the Zone did not have enough population. Should still give vidcom message that I think should specify that there is no Fate Pack awarded.

Also possible that you re-conquered a lost Zone. In that case no fate pack either.

Startup city hexes can be close to each other. This has always been a possibility in SE. However you are right if you want to imply it is at odds with the founding range limit. Made a note for the todo list as I tend to agree with that line of argument.

I hate conquering hunters :/ they have no populations and all they build is farms.
