Historical First turn option

Post by Chris21wen »

v26b

This is no biggy just a very minor irritant. If I reload a save sometimes, I repeat sometimes the 'Historical First Turn' option has been reset from off to on? The strange thing about this is if you close the game and restart and check the option it's 'off'. Well mostly any way.

Anybody seen this and is there a hidden combination of keys that causes it?

When you start the game to the scenario selection screen, the default setting is ON. But when you load a saved game, your previous settings are loaded with it so that you don't have to reset all your previous choices.

I agree but that is what is not what happens everytime. I do not have the option on, it's off all the time and has been off since my last reinstall.

Starting the game is not a problem, either new scenario or save. It only occurres, at irregular instances when I reload a save or for that matter start a new scenario without closing the game first.

That does sound odd - although there is at least one scenario that starts December 8th which would need to have "Historical Start" hardwired ON. And I assume the small scenarios would be like that too.
Is that the new 1127 Beta version you are playing?
