Opponent wanted

Post by Lucca1 »

Hello

I am looking for an opponent for one or more regular games. I am open regarding the scenario, although I would prefer ‘Call to Arms’. I don't care about the side. I can play about 1-2 rounds a day and am willing to keep playing even if I am losing. However, if the situation becomes one-sided, I'm in favour of an early termination. I'm reasonably experienced in the big campaign and generally an average to good player. I'm practically unfamiliar with the smaller scenarios.

I am open to messages via PM or here in the thread.

Greetings

Hi Lucca,

I'd be interested in Call to arms or Luddendorf Offensive, don't care about side either. So just host what you fancy and pm me the password. In case you want any houserules please include them in the pm.

Gonna jump the ship here and ask whether you want to play Ludendorf Offensive? No house rules, haven't played SC WW1 in a while, want to refresh my memory :D

Certainly, but let me ask you first: have you played the scenario before? Because it's very different from Call to Arms and I know from experience that going in blind can be very frustrating.

Yeah, several times, both as Germany and Entente.

Hi Lucca1. I just sent you a new game where you are the CP. I sent you a PM with the password. I don't look at the forums very much these days so email me at racndoc@yahoo.com if you are accepting the challenge.

hello loyt5:

We are starting the first moves of our Call to Arms Tournament.... TODAY. (Dec 9)

At this moment we have 10 players...however, one player that has held a spot has not responded to latest pm.
Do you want this position if he doesnt show up in the next 48 hours (or so)??

If you would like our "rules" please contact me at gkizziah@aol.com. ....
In summary... 3 games guaranteed.... then final 4 for a championship bracket.
One game at a time... and target average of one move a day.

we also plan to accept additional players to the tournament... in groups of two players... if you want to get in (even if the other player does show up)... I'll try to find you an opponent to get into the tournament (or maybe you know someone that can join with you)... should be able to start you still this month.
Regards,
Gary

Call to Arms players...

I am hosting a tournament. Action started December 10, 2024. We have 10 players already in action.

Rules state that we can add additional players up until Dec 31. ... but must be two-at-a-time added to keep the brackets even.

As of today (Dec 13)... we have one player that needs his first opponent.

Summary of tournament: guaranteed 3 games, then final-4 single-elimination bracket from the top-4 points players. Standard game set up... one game at a time... ONE TURN/DAY is target pace for everyone.

If want more information, contact me directly at: gkizziah@aol.com
