How do I slow player initiated attack display?

Post by jack54 »

Hi
I'm playing boot camp 4 and all player attacks are extremely fast. Each attack type artillery, close air, and small arms are nothing more than a quick blip.

During the AI turn everything is perfect including any attempted return fire by my units.
I checked in the options and animations for both side are the same default setting.

Thanks for any help.

Good day!
Thank you for playing!

You can adjust the speed of the reports under OPTIONS

OPTIONS --> DAMAGE RESULTS --> DELAY --> You can choose between 1 and 5 seconds.

I use about a 4 second delay during my streams so people can read them if they wish. But you can press enter to continue through them in case nothing interesting is going on.

Found it; it was F6. Somehow I must have pressed F8 and sped things up. (quite a bit too!)

TLDR: Odd thing I booted up CSME and it played perfectly. so I uninstalled\reinstalled CSVN. Ran 1.00 and it also played well...updated to 1.31.02 and it was lightning fast again. So the setting was stored somewhere even after the uninstall.

Anyway all is good... looking forward to the updates for both games early next year.

All the Best!

Ohh, sorry, I misunderstood what you meant.

Yes, that's a new replay feature to help speed up the LARGE scenarios.

Glad you found it!

Thank you again for the support!!
