Extend an "Campaign 1941 -No Early End"?

Post by quantas »

Tyronec and i started an "No early end campaign 1941" long before 1.04. Now we are in autumn 1944 and the highwater mark stands by 843. So the game will probably end with the turn of the year 44/45. Is there any opportunity to "modify" the game to extend it till summer of 45?

Unfortunately, in PBEM and MP games, it is not possible to change the options during the game. In reality, the Soviet government might not have survived a score of 843 (or more likely his generals might not have survived allowing that score to be wracked up). That was the theory behind the early auto win conditions, and trying to force the Soviet player not to let the score get too high. Even so, I understand the desire to play longer, which is why we recently added the option. If you're playing a PBEM game, it might be possible for Pavel to make an adjustment in the save file, but if it is an MP game, it's not at all possible. If you've got a PBEM save as you near the end of 44 and want us to try to alter the save for you, you can contact me at 2by3@2by3games.com.
All understanding comes after the fact.
