Flight Plan Type

Post by DWReese »

Regarding the Flight Plan TYPE, I see that there are three different TURNING POINTS possible.

Turning Point (Ingress) only occurs BEFORE the weapons are launched, and Turning Point (Egress) is only used AFTER the weapons are launched. That makes sense. But, what is TURNING POINT, and when is it used?

In looking at scenarios created by the game company, many times the ONLY TURNING POINT present is merely "TURNING POINT". There is no Ingress or Egress. So, are TURNING POINT, TURNING POINT (Ingress) and TURNING POINT (Egress) all the same? Do they do anything different?

Obviously, I wouldn't reverse the Ingress and Egress, but the solo TURNING POINT seems like it is simpler to use, if they all do the same thing. Can someone explain this as to what the actual difference is, and how it works?

Thanks in advance.

Turning Point (Ingress/Egress) is used for strike missions, Turning Point is used for patrol/support missions.

Thanks, that's exactly what I figured, but do they actually do anything different than each other, or are they just named that to keep things orderly?
