I have a few problems trying to set up a wireless network at home. I have a SMC2655W access point and two PC-cards (SMC2635W and SMC 2632W). Running Xp Pro, I've installed the PC-card drivers on the notebooks, and the utility program to setup the access point. But there is no contact at all. The program searches for access points and nothing comes up. I've tried resettng the access point several times and it seems to behave differently each time (judging by the LED's).
The hardware manuals aren't really good for troubleshooting and I can't find anything on the SMC website either.
Has anyone been successful with this hardware? Otherwise I'll have to go back to the store and hit them over the head with the hardware which, unfortunately, can't hurt very much
