pink shaded problem

Hi, I'm a Japanese newbie of the game.
After installed, I found a problem.
The font is pink shaded (the image can be obtained from the below url).

How should I fix this problem?

I can't honestly remember the exact cause but you should look at the switches you use to start the game. Also, the font you using may not be available on you machine.
Here's my switches with no problems. -pxf1900 -pyf1000 -cpu4 -dd_sw -altFont -multiaudio -deepColor -skipVideo -archive -w

This is a REAL toughy. Had this same issue when I loaded it up on my new machine. I don't think switches will resolve it, but you can try.

It has to do with your graphics card not fully supporting the old graphics call routines in the game. The tech support for my card claimed full support, but, yeah, not really and the tech was clueless. I resolved my problem by changing the screen rez AND the compatibility settings in the .exe properties. I also had to patch up my card drivers and I think I might also have modded the ini file. I have a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti card. If you have the same one let me know and I will try and find the ini file I modded for you. If you have a different card, I would suggest starting with a call to tech support ... hopefully you will get better support than I did.

Have you tried the switch -altFont if solves the problem?

The -dd_sw switch is what worked for me.
