Question about side enablers

Post by Mgellis »

A question...

If a scenario is set before certain enablers existed, does one need to uncheck them?

I'm guessing the way this works is that if a particular weapon uses an enabler like GPS, it is listed as one of its features. If it doesn't use GPS, then it doesn't matter whether GPS is enabled for a side or not.

So, with historical campaigns, the weapons don't have the enablers to begin with, and there is no need to uncheck them at the side level. Is this correct?

By default, all enablers are active for all sides.

To begin having an effect with them, you need to begin disabling them, either side-wide or for specific areas.

No, enablers unused by units won't affect historical scenarios.
