Stealth

Post by FTBSS »

Just doing some testing of new units in updated DB

B-21 vs new K3000 chinese AEW

the AEW picks up the most advanced stealth aircraft at over 90 miles with the B-21 being screened by an EA-18 NGJ equipped (the new EA-18G has another issue no low band jammer). I added the low band jammer and still has the above results.

I somehow think these results are not close to accurate.

Out of curiosity...how do you know? Or is it you believe its not plausible?

Did a quick testing with 1638 beta
6/1/2025 11:29:50 PM - [Anti-Stealth] New contact! Designated BOGEY #1 - Detected by KJ-3000 Kunpeng [Sensors: China KJ-3000 AESA Radar] at 180deg - Estimated 136nm

6/1/2025 11:30:02 PM - [Anti-Stealth] Contact: BOGEY #1 has been classified as: B-21 Raider - Determined as: Hostile (Classification by: KJ-3000 Kunpeng [Sensor: China KJ-3000 AESA Radar] [NCTR mode] at Estimated 136 nm)
Yes, KJ3000 can detect B-21 very far away. Guess the B band (VHF) wavelength radar, plus the AESA helps a lot on detecting stealth A/C. Although it is supposed to be vulnerable to jamming

In the 2nd test I added an EA-18G (with jammer on) trailing 30nm behind B-21. That reduce the detection range to 40-45nm

Can I see a save prior to the NCTR classification?

The detection range seems broadly correct, but the NCTR range is probably optimistic, and I suspect a reason for this.

I conducted a few tests using Taco's scenario, x3 without Growler support and x3 with, using what are the most LO/VLO US platforms in CMO:
