Screen and Slow-Paced Issues

Hello All.

GOOD NEWS: My sons have build me a new, faster computer.

They loaded the game onto a thumb drive and transferred it to the new computer after I did a AE download from Matrix.

BAD NEWS:
The game runs but has some issues:

1. I do not have a shortcut and need to know how to create that.
2. Once I have done that, I need to change the screen to wide and set the size (pxf and pyf) as well as other codes on that line.
3. The game is running SUPER SLOW and I seem to remember that the above issues can sometimes be the problem. Am I right?

This SHOULD be running at lightning speed but...it isn't...

I admit to my own tech limitations and need help from anyone who is willing. THANKS!
