Way too late and I think posted somewhere else as a general idea, but one day maybe and now in the proper Subforum.

Suggestion
Would be nice to have a game mode/option which changes those Leader rolls for Final Combat CV and makes them a linear modifier of sorts. There have been several questions in regards to CV drops over the years, caused/related to this random rolls.
Like, Inf Rating 9 multiplies leftover CV with x0.9, Leaders with Rating 6 multiply by x0.6 (or so).
Or Leaderchain percentage is used (so the total for all leaders), so 83% roll chance for the whole chain gives you x0.83.
...simply something what helps to understand combat outcomes, after accounting for dozens of other unknowns/uncertainties already (FoW/Intel, what makes up CV, SUs, Enemy Leader-Chains, Initiative-based Randomness in "Halting" attacks, RESERVES, Air...).

I can see the reason to want a "realistic game" with lots of "randomness of war", but the mentioned things are way enuff already it simply feels like playing an FPS-Shooters with closed eyes. :mrgreen:
