[WAD] [1728.2] F1 attack button behavior inconsistency

No save enclosed due to this being a completely save-agnostic issue and I don't really know what I could set up to demonstrate this issue. When pressing Shift+F1 and then holding the left mouse button, you can select multiple targets for scheduling a manual attack. When pressing *just* F1 and then holding the left mouse button, the attack is *canceled* on clicking. Instead, you have to press F1, click and hold, and then press F1 again - click-dragging will unselect the unit, so you have to actually take three steps to make an attack.

Is this normal? Please let me know if this is WAD.

For a normal auto-attack (Just F1) you only have to hold F1 if you're lassoing multiple targets. For a single target just press F1 to activate the targeting cursor and left click on the target. Let me know if I'm missing something

No, you've got it right, for a normal auto-attack you have to hold F1 to lasso multiple targets - or, what I learned to do is hold the mouse button and press F1 after drawing the box. I just wanted to ask if that was WAD or not, because manual attacking doesn't require holding or re-pressing F1.

You can press F1 and then press shift plus hold click to select all units to auto attack.

With manual is the same but since you already has shift pressed, you did not notice it.
