[RESOLVED] The character notation is strange

Post by kennkyuu1gou »

Desktop PC Specifications
Windows 11 OS
Ryzen 7 5700X
RTX 4060
16GB RAM
1TB SSD
Running Windows 8 in compatibility mode.
Application-level override of high DPI scaling settings is also being used.
Right-aligned text formatting frequently becomes distorted. What should I do?
Please note that I only speak Japanese, so I am using a translation app. Thank you for your understanding.

Why are you running W8 in compatibility mode? Command OS min requirements is Windows 10

I'm terribly embarrassed to admit it, but I'm not very knowledgeable about machines. So I asked gmeiniAI a question and had it suggest a solution. At that time, it suggested I try it on Windows 8, so I did.

No problem! So the issue was also happening when running Command on normal OS with windows 11. Have you tried the 4kfix.exe that is located along the Command.exe file?

Also, can you share the dxdiag log? To do this:

Hold the Windows key on your keyboard.
Tap the R key to open the Run window.
In the pop-up window, type: dxdiag.
Press the Enter key. The DirectX Diagnostic Tool will load. ...
Click the Save all information button.
Click the Save button. The file should be saved to your desktop as dxdiag.txt.
Click the Exit button.

Upload that dxdiag.txt file here to the forum.

That distortion on the top-right strongly suggests that another app is attempting to overlay itself on top of Command's rendering loop.

Some quickies:
* Is Command running as admin? (ie. prompting you "are you sure you want to run this program" when you launch it)
* (Steam only) Are Steam overlays disabled for Command?
* (Steam only) Is Direct-Write disabled on the Steam client?
* Are all other applications (and especially hardware-helper apps like RivaTuner, Nahimic, Nvidia Share, MSI Afterburner etc.) shut down?

The overlay was enabled. By fixing that, I can now play properly! Thank you!
