Assigning HQ’s

Post by DKF12 »

Full Campaign Allies vs. computer

Is there any posts on guidelines for assigning units to HQ’s.
On LCU’s do you want to spread them out to not over burden a particular group?
On air groups do you do the same. Should you transfer Independent groups to USN HQ ?
How do you decide how many training groups on the mainland to maintain?

Thanks

I dont't think there is a penalty in the code for assigning as many LCUs to one HQ as you want. Heck, I guess you could subordinate all available LCUs to one HQ and it wouldn't matter one bit.

With air groups it is different, since you want fighters/bombers being assigned to the same air HQ for their better coordination as escorts in air raids.

There's no penalty as such but don't forget that if a unit is not within the command radius of an HQ it gets no combat bonus. Assigning units to an HQ that's close also helps (me) keep track of were they are.
